this forum is a collaboration between the MidAtlantic AIDS Education and Training Center and the Philadelphia Department of Public Health, AIDS Activities Coordinating Office.
For the past two years AACO has been implementing C Ya - a HRSA/SPNS supported project that aims to move the Philadelphia region closer to eliminating hep C among people living with HIV. This event is intended to be an interactive forum to discuss what it will take to overcome remaining barriers to achieving this goal. Speakers include:
- Jay Kostman, MD (Philadelphia FIGHT) who will share updates on the latest hep C research.
- AACO staff who will present data and outline progress made in scaling up hepatitis C services among HIV practices in Philadelphia
- YOU! Participants will be given time to discuss challenging cases, share successes, promote your best practices and help each other identify what is needed to achieve hep C elimination in your agencies and our city.
The purpose of this networking and learning event will be to share the rich resources and creativity of our local Ryan White providers who are building successful HCV programs into a variety of HIV care settings.
Lunch will be provided.
