Description

HIV Prevention and Care for Transgender Populations 

 Upon completion of this course, the participant will be able to:

1. Explain basic concepts about transgender and gender non-conforming people to help healthcare professionals optimize care for their patients.

2. Describe HIV epidemiology among transgender (trans) people in the United States

3. Identify new HIV prevention strategies including PrEP

4. Identify barriers to engagement & retention in HIV Care
