This year's commemoration of World AIDS Day in the Lehigh Valley will include expert presentations on HIV topics including: a medical update; HIV and criminalization; youth and HIV; trauma-informed care; LGBTQIA-specific care; sex trafficking; and the opioid epidemic. CME, Nursing and Social Work credits will be available.
On Thursday, December 6th, F.A.C.T. (Fighting AIDS Continuosly Together) is hosting a World AIDS Day film event at Grace Episcopal Church (108 N. 5th Street, Allentown, PA 18102). The film, "Alternative Endings, Radical Artists" will be screened at 6:30 pm, and refreshments will be served. This event is free, with a Love Gift offering being requested.
