The Virginia Department of Health, in collaboration with the MidAtlantic AETC Virginia Regional Partners and Virginia HIV/AIDS Resource and Consultation Center, will hold the fourth annual Case Management Summit called
"Cultural Humility & Agility: Is It Just Political Correctness?"
The summit is designed to provide Medical and Non-Medical Case Managers an opportunity to learn new skills, discuss best practices, and network with colleagues from other parts of the state.
Agenda topics will include: cultural humility and agility, implicit bias, empathy mapping, self-care for case managers and other relevant Case Management topics.

BREAKOUT SESSIONS:
- Immigrant Communities - A dialogue to build awareness of immigrant communities.
- Trans* Communities - A dialogue build awareness of trans* communities.
- Homelessness - A dialogue to build awareness of homelessness and housing insecurity.
- Re-entry Populations - A dialogue to build awareness of re-entry / formerly-incarcerated needs.

The summit will be held at the historic Hotel Roanoke and Conference Center at 110 Shenandoah Ave NW, Roanoke, VA 24016. Case managers coming from more than 25 miles away may request a hotel room to be provided at no cost.
NOTE: Space is limited and rooms will be assigned on a first come, first served basis so register early. The deadline to request a hotel room is January 22, 2019.
