PROGRAM OVERVIEW

The purpose of this webinar is to enable participants to recognize the need for trained HIV primary care providers and the influence of expert primary care on quality HIV care

Upon completion, participants will:

Discuss how HIV has changed from a terminal disease to a chronic disease process
Verbalize an understanding of the impact of the PCP on HIV care

Dr. Arif Sarwari is a board certified infectious disease specialist in Morgantown, West Virginia. He is currently licensed to practice medicine in West Virginia. He is affiliated with West Virginia University Hospitals and United Hospital Center. A 1990 graduate of the Aga Khan Medical College, Aga Khan University, Karachi, Pakistan, Dr. Sarwari has been in practice for 25 years.
