Update in the Management of HIV: From Behavior to Drug Therapy

 Upon completion of this course, the participant will be able to:

  •  Discuss drug updates in the HIV/AIDS treatment guidelines.
  • Define the concept of treatment as prevention. PrEP and PEP.
  • Identify the challenges to current medication adherence needs.
  • Assess the impact of adverse experiences in risky behaviors vs self-care.

The MidAtlantic AIDS Education and Training Center Howard University Regional Partner, Washington D.C. is providing the Certificate of Attendance. Approved by the District of Columbia Board of Nursing for (1) contact hours.
