This conference will bring together regional experts to explore ways to increase awareness of the opioid and Hepatitis C epidemics affecting women and infants in Southwestern Pennsylvania. We will discuss evidence-based care approaches that will increase the quality of care provided to women and identify solutions to improve the current care model of clinical and behavioral health care for women of childbearing age who are opioid users.
The intended audience for this program includes physicians, physician assistants, psychologists, nurses, nurse practicioners, case manager, counselors, social workers, and other members of the HIV treatment team.

PSNA: The MidAtlantic AIDS Education and Training Center is an approved provider of continuing education by the Pennsylvania State Nurses Association, an accredited approver by the American Nurses Credentialing Center's Commission on Accreditation.
This activity qualifies for 6.75 contact hours.
Social Work: This program is offered for 6.5 hours of social work continuing education through co-sponsorship of the University of Pittsburgh's School of Social Work, a Council on Social Work Education-accredited school and, therefore, a PA pre-approved provider of social work continuing education.
